A tall and full perennial that is easy to grow. Delicate white flowers grace this plant in summer and fall, highlighting the name Pycnanthemum, which means "densely flowered." Mountain Mint is highly attractive to bees because of its minty smell and long-lasting blooms. It is an important nectar source for the bees and butterflies as the season comes to a close. This species prefers moist soils in partial shade, but dry soil conditions will slow down its quick growth if that's what is needed.
