Shrubby St. John's Wort (Hypericum prolificum) is a low maintenance shrub that grows well in part shade and moderate moisture. Bright yellow, mid-summer blooms are extremely attractive to pollinators, especially bumblebees. Grows in almost any soil condition as long as it is well drained. Prune early in the spring to see new growth. Deer and rabbit resistant due to toxic substances in its tissues.
