Low maintenance shrub that grows well in part shade and moderate moisture. Bright yellow, mid-summer blooms are extremely attractive to pollinators, especially bumblebees. They can grow in almost any soil condition as long as it is well drained. Prune early in the spring to see new growth. Deer and rabbit resistant due to toxic substances in its tissues. A host plant for caterpillars and very attractive to a diverse set of pollinators. Bees are especially attracted to its bright yellow flowers.
