Please note: Lanceleaf Coreopsis (Coreopsis lanceolata) is a short lived perennial. It may only last 3-5 years if planted and left alone. One way to increase its lifespan is to divide up clumps and replant in the spring when the plant has become established after a few growing seasons.
Vibrant, yellow, spring flowers emerge from this clump-forming perennial. A great addition to a pollinator gardens to attract bees and butterflies. Found in prairies and meadows, this flower is tolerant of drought and poor, rocky soils. Thrives in a sunny, dry location and is a quick grower. It is great for cut flower arrangements as the flowers are long-lasting.
