An easy to maintain and hardy perennial ground cover, Canada Anemone (Anemone canadensis) produces lovely white buttercup flowers in spring. Rapid growth and adaptability make it an ideal choice for those harder to grow open spaces in your garden. Plant with adequate space between other plants due to rapid spreading by seed and rhizomes. Drought tolerant and can tolerate full shade below trees or on a garden edge, but will grow best in part shade to full sun. Enjoy long bloom times from May to June. Leaves provide beautiful greenery when not in bloom.
