Description
Moisture-loving tree that grows best in partially shady areas where the roots can stay cool. Mulch around the base of the plant to help retain soil moisture. Its natural beauty makes it a popular choice even though it does require some light maintenance. Prune back dead or overgrown branches in the dormant season. Has a distinctive white bark that peels off in strips. Beautiful yellow to orange leaves provide contrast in the fall.
