New species for 2025! Available for preorder on March 1, 2025

Plant in 2.5 x 2.5 x 3.5 inch plastic pot

A great native alternative to Crab Apples. It boasts 5-petaled white flowers in spring, which are quite showy. With an outstanding red spring colour on the leaves and sweet, edible purple raw berries in June. This Serviceberry (Amelanchier laevis) is self-fertile, but you will have better fruit production with a second tree. Berries can be used in jams, jellies, and pies. Suitable for planting as a shade tree, street tree, or in a woodland setting. This Serviceberry does best in full sun to part shade and does not tolerate drought.
