Looking for a rain garden sedge perfect for a part shade to full sun location with a unique seed head? Look no further. This slow growing and short, clump forming sedge produces green starburst flowers in Spring that turn brown in summer and fall. Source of food for caterpillars and butterflies late into the year as leaves are semi-evergreen.

Plant in moist, well drained clay or sandy soil rich in organic matter. Great option alongside or in a pond or rain garden.
