One of the easiest wildflowers to grow, with beautiful purple blooms lasting from mid to late summer. These are complimentary to yellow flowers like Black Eyed Susan or Smooth Oxeye. The leaves and flowers have a sweet fragrance and are edible. Its flowers are great for bouquets and attract a variety of butterflies. Wild Bergamot tolerates most soil and moisture conditions in part shade to full sun. Avoid sprinkler or overhead watering systems to prevent powdery mildew.
