Description

Would you like to attract Ruby-Throated Hummingbirds or Monarch Butterflies to your garden? Plant Michigan Lilies! The Michigan Lily (Lilium michiganense) has large, bright flowers that will brighten up your garden in the summer months. The strong backward curve of the petals distinguishes it from other lilies. Great to plant as on a border of a garden or pond as it prefers sunny sites with moist soil. And don’t let the name confuse you- Michigan Lilies are native to Ontario.

Our plants are in their second year of growth. As it takes around 4-5 years to produce blooms, our plants will take an additional 2-3 years from when they are planted this year. Some bloom a bit quicker in the second year.

Ontario Hardiness Zone: 3 to 7 (Find out your Hardiness Zone here)
