Description
Shade tolerant aster whose name comes from the 4-8″ heart-shaped basal leaves that form a lush carpet. Pale blue blooms take the spotlight from the foliage display in late fall, attracting bees and butterflies.
Prefers well-drained, moderately moist, sandy soil in part to full shade. A perfect addition to your shade or woodland garden.
