Description
Shade tolerant aster whose name comes from the 4-8″ heart-shaped basal leaves that form a lush carpet. Pale blue blooms take the backseat to the foliage display in late fall, attracting bees and butterflies.
Prefers well drained, moderately moist, sandy soil in part to full shade. A perfect addition to your shade or woodland garden.
